We are delighted to invite Neil Wilson, T/Chief Inspector Police Scotland Edinburgh Division to provide a presentation on managing events from a police perspective.
He has 11 years of police service with a range of experience in response and community roles in addition to extensive events policing exposure in both conventional and public order capacities. He has worked as an operations and event planner and has overseen a number of large scale events in the Bronze 'on the ground' Commander role including the largest electric dance event in Europe at Ingliston Showground and the Spice Girls concert at Murrayfield Stadium in 2018. Latterly, he has been involved in the planning for the NHS led COVID-19 vaccination programme and has also operated in the Silver 'tactical' Commander capacity for policing protest during the pandemic.
Please register and dial in to hear all about some of his experiences and how you might apply some of his learning points across your own varied roles.
