IOSH Thames Valley Branch: Managing change during turbulent times at pace
The Thames Valley Branch invites you to attend an evening virtual event which will begin with a presentation on the 'Current job market' by Phillip Muston, Managing Consultant/Shirley Parsons.

Managing change during turbulent times at pace:
During the current turbulent times people may feel like 'change' is the only constant. No sooner are decisions made, preparations underway for return to office working and the ’new norm’, then there’s another pandemic wave, driving a need to rethink business decisions at pace. This temporary nature makes it tough for all and most especially for those leading and managing changes in the workplace.
So how can we do this well? Join business change professionals, Pete Smith and Kerryn Harding-Jones, to learn more about managing change effectively, hear what they believe makes the biggest positive impact for colleagues and the business, and take away new change tools to put into practice right away.

Speakers:
Collectively Pete and Kerryn have over 20 years of business change experience across a broad range of industry sectors.
Pete is a classic “poacher turned gamekeeper” shifting his focus from solution-led delivery as a programme manager to managing people through the business change lifecycle and supporting them to meet the challenges which come with embracing, adopting and embedding new ways of working and behaviours. Pete believes it is essential that people be recognised as individuals throughout the process and that leadership, honesty and compassion are keys to success.
Kerryn loves the world of change, most especially as it’s all about people! With a career based in stakeholder engagement in various guises, she passionately believes that if you want to make a change stick, you need to win the hearts and minds of the people. As change lead, she works tirelessly alongside colleagues to embed the right mindset and behaviours to support new ways of working and realise the benefits being derived from the change.
